Hi folks
Just a quick poll as to who's going to the Catskills this July?
It looks like there's a great chance of some of us thesession.ogres (!) to meet up for at least one big session in the open air. Send me your details and we can organise a meeting point and time!
Also (uh oh!) anyone driving back to new York City on Saturday the 16th of July? I could probably do with a lift if all other avenues are closed. I will obviously contribute to petrol costs and the like, plus you get to pre-order any CDs you want from Custy's as I will be in Miltown the week before!

I'm going! Let me know where and when we're meeting up, I'll try to make it. We're trying to get a chiffandfipple.com session or something together too.
I think I will be up there for that Thursday through Saturday and I live just outside NYC. I was thinking of staying for the Saturday evening festivities but have yet to decide. If I venture back Saturday you are welcome to a lift. I’ll know more as the time draws nearer.
I'll be down for a few days during the week - not sure when exactly but probably Wednesday - Saturday. You can find me being kept sloshed and jolly by yer man Cornelius (righteous name that) in the usual location, belting out tunes at all hours.
Thanks for the responses everyone! Kelly, Ed and Steph - hope we can get together at the same time. I'm staying in Furlong's, which is a great place for a session. I've only been over there once, in November so it was reasonably quiet. However I would guess that it gets pretty packed during the Summer so... outdoor session, anyone?
Outdoor sessions are nice when it's not too hot or humid. Humidity or sweat makes the flute slide down one's chin, causing one to lose one's tone. I'll sit on a cooler(or on the ground or whatever), but no booze for me, I'm only 18!
Of course, we all waited until we were 18, right enough.
I started going to sesssions when I was about 12 or something and a ne'er a drop of the Devil's buttermilk passed my lips until I had come of age. :o

I believe outdoor sessions were the very reason The Cooler was invented. So practical - not just booze within arms reach, but a place to sit besides.
