Just to let anyone know who might be interested . . .
my band Millish has just released it's debut album. We're very excited about it want to hear what you think.
It will be available through our website when our new website is finished and running (a week? two? who knows).
Until then, you can send a $16 check (made out to Millish) to:
I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my bounds. I simply thought that since this is an irish music forum, and my bands cd is irish, and is an independant release which doesn't have advertisements in irish music mag or borders nationwide and relies on word of mouth, giving the info here would be logicall. I also thought some people might want to know,. Again, I'm sorry if I was mistaken.
Great fusion with an emphasis on jazz! There's a radio host and producer I know that would love to feature your music. He calls his program "Tangents" and broadcasts on San Francisco's biggest music formatted NPR affiliate -- KALW fm. He also streams over the Internet. Here's his contact info.

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the show on Tuesday! You guys were awesome. I can't think of a band who deserved that crowd as much as you- except maybe my band. ;)
Wow, thanks everbody.
We can definitely get it across the pond Aaron B.

I really appreciate everyones support. It's very inspiring and encouraging.
Indeed, ignore me. I'm obviously nuts for thinking your music is lovely, although those of us who think there is room for everyone here are in the distinct minority. I was the only one who admited to playing along with Gry's hip hop tracks and when Flogging Molly was being flogged and "laughed off the stage" suggested that people just enjoy the music. It can get viciously parochial in here. Notice how some seem to feel that I've insulted you by noting that your music is jazz? Hence my question.
"And you, *you* think his music isn't Irish at all, just 'Irish melody.'"
I never said that. Obviously yer man, Tyler, is quite accomplished at Irish trad. I think he qualifies as someone capable of truly fusing it rather than just ripping it off, like so many "celtic rock" bands do.

Re: Shameless plug
Great playing, guys.
Why don't you do your samples in .mp3 instead of .wav ? It would save on space, cost and download / stream time. Just a thought.
