I am new here ... I live in Munich, Germany and play Fiddle & Flutes, pretty much exclusively Scottish and Cape Breton Tunes .. you could say, I am hooked
I´ve been digging around in the Session for tunes for quite a while... last time I tried to sign up, it had been impossible to join, as there were no new members accepted ... but now I´m here ... looking forward to loads of new friends ... !
Welcome Scotswind....I have to admire your bravery in choice of monicker...Scotswind? That's what comes out of my bum-bum after 10 pints of Guinness.....
But you're right Danny, it's an odd name.
Scotswind, welcome, and have you thought about naming yourself after a tune itself, it would not have to be so different. How about South Wind ?
my reply two years later as I did not fowllow this (indeed a bit odd discussion) of my user name ... ) ScotsWind because I play SCOTtiSh music on a WIND instrument, the flute ... and am planning to build simple system flutes (hopefully) adapted to the intricacies of (flat key) scottish music ....

Well it's better than the crap that comes out of my mouth after the aforementioned 1.25 gallons of diesel.
