Joe Molloy is a fine player from Birmingham. I don't know if he still lives there.

Re: Banjo Tuition in the West Midlands

Well said quirl!
Joe was All-Ireland champion in '85 methinks.

Becky, last time I saw his dad and brother, ('99) they said he was playing with the Fureys - nice way to sort out the pension fund eh!

If you can't get hold of Joe, look up Tony Martin, he lives down Gloucester way which isn't too far from Brum. He's a lovely steady player, great technique, 1000s of tunes. If you can;t meet up he'd certainly put you in touch with someone who could help.

Good luck!
