It was a mirage, Dirk, from all the heat in your house building up...Natalie McMaster, rising like Venus from the shimmering heat waves, which is your bedroom's only moving air....have you gotten the breaker fixed yet?
Thanks Zina! We have been trying to solve the mystery all evening. It seems the electricians visited in secrecy today to repair the breaker. How do we know? First of all, we have had the air conditioning on all evening with no outages. Second, when we came home, all the clocks were blinking, but nobody had been home since the clock were reset, and nobody was home to flip the breaker BACK ON. Third, and most mysterious of all, there was a SCREWDRIVER driven into the DIRT next to the outside breaker box. Of course, this was a secret operation, because they never called or left a bill in the milkbox, even. In the "spiritual" discussion, I implied that I don't believe in fairies. Maybe I shouldn't have said as much.
Anyway, the Natalie fantasy was probably just a Benadryl-induced one. It might have also been a cloud of Miller moths passing through...
You mean...you may actually SLEEP tonight? Cool. Literally. *grin* This should mean that you'll actually be at the session on Sunday, right, because you're so rested up and without your Benadryl high? Heh. You ARE going to try and make that, right? See you tomorrow night at Flanagan's.

Yes, it's true, the electricians did visit us. We are going to the office to pay the bill and give
them their lost screwdriver today. Actually, we knew it couldn't have been the government, or
even the power company, because we had called them first, and they told us that they only handle
up to the power meter, and that the breaker was my responsibility. They said this after taking
three days to get back to us. I was a bit perplexed that the breaker belongs to me, because it's
actually in the neighbor's yard.
Anyway, Yes! I got some sleep last night! However, this weekend is a major ham-radio,
event, and I WILL be tired at the session. However, even if I have to bring blanky and teddie,
I'll be there. Good thing there's good espresso at the the session!
Anyway, 73, and I'll hear some of you on 2O Meters!
