Folkus organises tin whistle workshops in the north west. They have a web sit at http://www.folkus.co.uk/index.htm, but their list of workshops ran out with April . You could email alanbell@fylde-folk-fest.demon.co.uk if you were interested.
The Burwell Bash seems excellent though I've never joined it: http://www.burwellbash.info/index.shtml One of my friends has been helping organising the workshops there and told me Brian Finnegan is a really nice tutor as well as a great player. You'll see even Liz Doherty and Ed Boyd too. Be sure to book in advance.
