Meitheal Summer School still accepting entries

Just letting ye know that the Meitheal Summer school 2005 to be held in Limerick July 18th to 22nd is still accepting entries. Just in case you were put off by the closing date in some of the literature.

Here are some of the tutors:

Maurice Lennon (Stockton's Wing) - fiddle,
Maire Bhreathnach - fiddle,
Tim Collins (Kilfenora Ceili Band) - concertina,
Harry Bradley (Tap Room Trio) - flute,
Michel Sikiotakis (Mugar) - flute,
Marcus Moloney - banjo
Fergal O Murchu (Ragus) - box
Karen Tweed - piano box

It may seem expensive at a first glance but when you consider what's on offer (ie the quality of the tutors and the total immersion for a week or so) it's definitely worth considering. Personally I look on this type of thing as an experience of a lifetime in that it's something that will have an effect on you and that you'll never forget.

Willie Week is 120 euro, and that's a full week and top-notch instructors, too.
