Does anyone know what type of accordion, B/C or C#/D, Josephine Marsh plays? I've been listening to her solo CD lately and I can't figure it out. If I had to guess I would guess B/C played, much in the style of Paddy O'Brien (living) and P.J. Hernon, which sounds a bit C#/Dish.
Jo plays a B/C Hohner Black Dot with the grill removed. I believe it's the one she's been playing forever. About a year ago, she told me she was thinking of picking up a C#/D, but said nothing about that when I saw her in January. She does play quite a bit in unusual keys (some of which would require similar fingering and bellows work to C#/D).
