I have a website, but it's entirely unrelatd to Irish music...so, not my site, but I write CD reviews for the Celtic Mp3s Music Magazine: http://www.celticmp3s.com . It's a nice e-zine that directs you to bands' websites who offer free downloads of tracks from their CDs. It's great exposure for the bands, and it's a great chance to learn about more indie bands out there.
This is the link to my website of Irish poems. All in Irish with Some English translations. Some erotic illustrations accompany the poems............Try not to become too aroused! http://:m.maccoisdeala.tripod.com/dara/index.html
Tim, are you sure you mean:
click *hear* to hear a couple of tunes?
I haven't worked out yet how to put samples of tunes onto my website. I'm not sure if it is a good idea to put lists of songs or tunes onto your site. The site looks neat altogether though.
I've put a link to my hp into my member's profile. Should we perhaps have a 'the session.org members' web ring'?
lol I do mean "here" ...this is why it is great to have others edit your stuff! This are some good sites it would be useful to have a web ring for the session members...
Ya' think the list of tunes and songs is a little much...I wanted to give those folks that I am arranging gigs with to see what other tunes I play...thanks for the comments.
By "Zen" I mean when I play it, nothing comes out of my speaker at all. I have a Tommy Potts album and when I play it all kinds of lovely sounds come out. I don't see the resemblance, personally.
has essays occasionally about fiddle-playing and music in general. I also have a page on the site with free MP3 recordings of me playing a given tune in both fast and slow versions. The recordings aren't meant to be perfect takes; they are all first takes, which means that the renditions have occasional errors. My purpose is to help other musicians in my area learn more easily some of the tunes I play.
Kerri, I've pumped up the volume on Brad's track - it was a bit low. Your speakers should now jump up and down and boogie and shake, rattle & roll and make your fangs tingle with joy!!

...I meant to include some of this site's members' tunes (the audio)... at http://www.worldfiddlemusic.co.uk/mightycraiconline and
http://www.worldfiddlemusic.co.uk/virtualsession
...sort of on my site but totally contributed to by members of thesession.org

I've mentioned this here before, but my blog:
http://www.silphium.net/blog
has essays occasionally about fiddle-playing and music in general. I also have a page on the site with free MP3 recordings of me playing a given tune in both fast and slow versions. The recordings aren't meant to be perfect takes; they are all first takes, which means that the renditions have occasional errors. I play better live, believe me!
