Hi
Anyone know if theres any serious big time tune jockeys gonna be in Canberra this year? ( Aussie National Folk Festival )
A friend of mine is wondering whether to make the trip.
Last year the Clancy sisters from Milltown and Mossie Mannion ? ( fiddle ) and James ( from Mayo on on the box )
made for a hard core session.
Michael Hand was in Tassie last week. I played a marvellous session with him at the Pier Hotel in Georgetown. Luke Plumb from Shooglenifty will be there ( an ex Tasmanian)
