Something i don't understand. (Thanks, by the way, to all who contributed their interesting opinions to this ongoing discussion). Will the site post slow airs (or songs, for that matter) if they are submitted under existing categories? Apparently not, according to my reading of one of the respondents who tried to so post "Staker Wallace". Does the site, then, object to my asking for those interested in music other than the dance music to have off-list discussions and tune exchanges of music that most here are, seemingly, uninterested in? If so, i again respectfully request those so interested to contact me at cliffabrams@yahoo.com.
Finally, i still enjoy the site and the music offered since my own interests are pretty inclusive across the complete spectrum of ITM.
You *can* post slow airs to The Session as long as they are posted in the meter of an existing tune type: e.g. "reel" if it's 4/4, "jig" if it's 6/8.
I hope that's clear.
On another matter, you really shouldn't post your email address in these discussions. It will probably be picked up by spambots. If people want to write to you, they can do it through your member profile.
