According to Vallely's "Companion to Irish Tradition Music," you can find 63 tunes composed by Terry Teahan in a book he co-published with Josh Dunson in 1980 titled "The Road to Glountane." Not sure where you'll find this book, but your profile says you're in mid-America, so you're closer than most to the source--from 1928 till his death in 1989, Teahan lived in the Chicago area. You might check with the local Comholtas chapter.
Also, his playing is included on three albums:
"Terry Teahan and Gene Kelly: Old Time Irish Music in America"
"Irish Traditional Instrumental Music in Chicago"
and
"Chicago Irish Musicians"
I recently learnt two tunes by Terry Tehan from a compilation CD. They were played on flute but just called Teehan's. I particularly like the second reel and seem to play it a lot. I'm curious to know what instrument Terry Teehan played.
I used to have a copy of Terry Teahan and Gene Kelly: Old Time Irish Music in America on vinyl, possibly still have it hidden away somewhere. As best as I recall he played concertina.
Thanks for the very welcome feedback re Terry Cuz Teehan. I'll keep an eye out for the Terry Teehan and Gene Kelly recording, although I don't envisage much success. I'd like to add that I find "The Session" so helpful for getting relevant info re players, recordings etc.
Just a footnote: I stumbled on the following in the database. Have never heard it but thought it worth mentioning ~ http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display/1813

Terry Cuz Teehan
In Ireland I heard some folks perform tunes by Terry Cuz Teehan, but I have been able to find very few recordings of Teehan tunes, per se.
Could you guide me to recordings, or charts too, of Teehan's tunes, please?
Many thanks,
stv

Re: Terry Cuz Teehan
I have "The Road to Gloutane" book. It is probably the 1st book of Irish tunes I ever bought. I believe it was written & transcribed from recording made by his friends.
A bit of info here;

I also, at 1 time ~ if you're reading this Preston, had in my possession the Rounder Records CD;
