I've just launched my new website which includes some popular electric violin related FAQ. If you have a question please ask and I will try to answer. I want to include all the common questions on the site. http://www.sonicviolins.co.uk Thanks.
Hi Titch! Good site, and the sound samples sound good too. You might remember me, playing fiddle at the Christchurch session a few years back with Cat, Malcolm, Julian Batten. I played with Bob Smith, Andy Stone, and Ben the drummer at a recent gig - *evidently*, they all know you...
Anyway, I've got a Yamaha SV-200 electric for gigs, great sound, as well as my acoustic. Check out my tune learning site, http://www.worldfiddlemusic.co.uk, and there's plenty sound samples there for you to do a sound comparison, if you like.
All the best in your new biz.
Cheers,
Jim Dorans (please excuse the terrible user name - it's a long story!)
