yeah, but at least the last 5 days of Anarchy in the Ukraine looks like it will have a positive outcome. (Similarly, I remember earlier this year when those terrible bombs went off in Madrid, there were spontaneous anti-terrorist demonstrations throughout the length and breadth of Spain. They didn't amount to anything but there was a gratifying crumb of comfort in the knowlege that some societies can still act with such spontanaiety to such tragic events. I suppose we did the same with the anti-war demos last year, and before that in London when that little pr!ck bombed his way into notoriety in Soho, Brixton and Brick Lane.)
Have there been any similar pro-democracy demos in the States since the "election"?
Oops, I nearly forgot - this here yellow pages is a music only website - so let's all merrily play tunes and forget about the real world - except - remember, in the UK your local pub will need a music licence for your lovely wee escapist session. So anyone who is under the misapprehension that politics and music don't interact, needs a kick up the hole to wake them up.

They actually manage to turn the whole of the Isle of Lewis in to one huge power station by planting a forest of over 550 of the worlds largest ever wind-turbines, plus pylons and substations, destroying an ancient traditional way of life on the land, birds of prey and other protected species, the ecosystem of the peatlands and any possibility that the Island could regenerate its self through encouraging the tourist industry.... bah fkin bah....just like the bloody clearances again.

Is that Turnip as in Turnip, or as in swede. If it is Neeps, (swede) then portion control would be bad, as they are delicious when mashed with butter and pepper, and served with haggis, especially the ones from munros in Dingwall.
