Well, as far as I know, Paddy Keenan still lives in the area, but I couldn't say how often he might actually get out to sessions with his performance schedule and all.

There's a fellah named Patrick Murray who -- according to their Web site -- plays at The Burren Friday nights. One caution: I don't believe these are open sessions, so you probably shouldn't go expecting to sit in.

Does seem as if there should be more pipers around Boston, so if you keep making the rounds (and buying the rounds?) you're bound to run into a few, I'd think.

So which sessions do you frequent? I'll keep an eye out for you.

Carl Kelley plays with Boston's Original Slow Sessions (BOSS)from 7-9 PM and CCE 9 PM -1 AM usually on Monday night's at the Greenbriar in Brighton and on many Tuesday night's at the Skellig in Waltham. Because of the size of the session and his desire to keep plumbing problems to a minimum he usually plays with a half set of pipes. Occasionally there are also some visiting players as well.
