I am gettin' hitched on October 2. Having a session at the reception. Me...ancestors from New Mexico via Extremadura, Spain. Him...Tubbercurry, County Sligo. Anybody want to come to Evergreen Colorado for a truly "yooneek" Mexican-Irish wedding celebration?
My mother-in-law will insist on "Siege of Ennis"...I'll have "Tabhair Dom Do Lamh"...the rest are on ye...
Sounds like a great idea - beats those discos we're normally subjected to at weddings over here hands down. I'd like to offer "Haste to the Wedding" for the day itself and when it's all over you'll have "the Woman of the House" and hopefully "The Cook in the Kitchen" - apologies in advance to any feminists on the site; not really PC is it?
All sounds good so far! I will probably sing..."Do you love an apple?"...leaving out a couple of the more violent verses and adding a couple of silly ones I have added myself.
Don't think I will play the flute...but ye never know.
As for feminists...well...he knows who the boss is! He's in Amerikay!!!
