I saw the Emily Smith band in New Zealand this year. I really like the song 'Macleods farewell' and 'Crossing the Tay with a blind man and a dog'. The melody was reasonably easy to work out but I'm having trouble with the chords. Does anybody know the chords or what sort of tuning Sean O'Donnell uses? Just wondering if its double drop D or something. Watching him play he at least had dropped the bottom E to a D.

Hi Jonathan.
Sean does indeed use a drop d tuning, will drop you an email and try and explain in more detail!
