Irish Dance Works

Irish Dance Works

Just a quick note to all Irish Dance enthusiasts. Michael Pat Gallagher, TCRG holder, former World champion and lead of Riverdance, has established "Irish Dance Works" as a teaching aid for teachers and dancers alike. Michael Pat has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to pass on to younger dancers. Michael Pat has given workshops in Australia, New Zealand, Hungary, Mexico and across the US. He has worked with established Irish dance schools as well as schools specialising in other forms of dance.

Due to the popularity of ‘Riverdance’ and ‘Lord of the Dance’, the market for Irish dance has grown worldwide. Unfortunately up until now many aspiring dancers around the world did not have access to a qualified teacher. This "Video Consulting" service is aimed at filling this gap.

Dancers can send in a video of their routines, and this will then be expertly analyzed by Michael Pat. The dancer in question will then receive a video where Michael Pat will work through their dances, step by step, giving instruction as to where steps and movements can be improved.

His website is at: http://www.irishdanceworks.com

Just wondering if any of you aspiring Irish Dance fans would be interested in this?

Re: Irish Dance Works

Sounds like Scoiltrad. Looks cool, but I've got a teacher.

Re: Irish Dance Works

thanks
it's always worth remembering even if you do hav a teacher. I'm not dancing at the moment but we recntly had the Australian Mens Champion come down and critique our dancers and everyone said it was really good including my teacher. It's always good getting an outside oppinion because an objective view will see different things.
anyway thanks for the info
