I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of any Irish music
sessions in Tulsa, Oklahoma? I'm planning to visit there in about
2 weeks, with a possibility of moving there. Knowing there was an
existing Irish Music community there might make a big difference
in the decision-making process.

I don't know that there is a whole lot of irish music in Tulsa. There is an irish club, or something of the sorts, but I don't know that they have very many sessions. Also, there is a pub which has sessions on the first, third, and fifth (whenever there is a fifth) Sunday of every month. I live almost an hour's drive from Tulsa. My family holds a jam (a mix of irish and americana) the last Saturday of every month. Just in case you might be interested. Or we might be able to work something out where just a few people (me, you, this guy that plays fiddle, and this guy that plays bodhran). Ok...I know this has gotten off the topic. weekend, but there's been a lot of other drama going on. I'll let you

I play flute, mostly; I can play folk chords on guitar, and I sing, but
not particularly in an Irish setting.
