Has anyone noticed that when you click on a sound file on this site it doesn't play the sharps and flats? I've clicked on a few tunes in D and G, and some of the notes don't sound right--like instead of C# and F#, it's playing C and F. Anyone know why this is, or how to fix it?
What I mean is, when you have a tune in, say, D Major (or whatever mode corresponds to the D Major scale on, say, a D tin whistle or flute), instead of playing C# and F#, which is part of that scale, it sounds like it's playing C and F. Anyone else have this problem when playing the midi files, or is it my imagination?

That's because those notes are not needed in true Irish music.

No. The midis play correctly for me. Note that some tunes have been posted with an incorrect key/mode designation, and they sound "wrong" to my ear.

So Glauber, are there no C#'s or F#s in Irish music? or did you just have a brain storm?
