Accordion shop in Glasgow

Accordion shop in Glasgow

I'll be in Glasgow for Celtic Connections. Can anyone suggest shops where I can find button accordions?

I only know of one in Dumfries. There's probably something closer, though.

Laurieston isn't too far.

Even nearer - Rolston Accordions in Bellshill.

Re: Accordion shop in Glasgow

Well indeed but, looking at the website, they only appear to have 1 button accordion for sale just now - a Hohner Double Ray (as of 7th December). It might be worthwhile giving them a ring before heading out. They could have nothing.

A one button accordion? For playing the One Note Samba I presume? ;-)

Everyone has to start somewhere - call it an accordion starter kit for bodhran players. :-)

In Listowel they have a slipjig
With a simple melody
Just one single note, it sounded
And repeated constantly
On my head there is a small wig
It’s never in jeopardy
Coz I always use my SyrupStik and it works fantastic’ly
