Re: Kevin Burke If anyone interested.

Nice site. I enjoyed reading about Kevin's fiddles. Sounds like his brother Noel would be a fellow to go to for a bow. Wonder what they run?

Re: Kevin Burke If anyone interested.

Yes, interesting. I thought the section on "strings that I like to use" was quite amusing:

"Strings that I like to use are Jargar Forte, Pirastro Tonica, Pirastro Synoxa Plus, Pirastro Aricore and over the last year or two I have been using 2 types of string made by D'Addario - Helicore (Heavy Tension) and Zyex (Medium)."

6 very varied types of string. It seems he can't make his mind up, like many of us.

Being a dry sort of guy, he may also be having a go at people
like me, always looking hopefully for the magic strings!

Re: Kevin Burke If anyone interested.

Or perhaps he simply doesn't have an endorsement deal and has found something to like about all of those strings.

Re: Kevin Burke If anyone interested.

Or Mr. Burke might be making it up as he goes along -

"Okay, Kevin, so what do we put down about the strings you prefer to use?"

"Mmm --- better hand me that JustStrings catalog, this has to sound good."

Just speculating.
