Hi all.
I'm selling a Lachenal concertina. Lovely instrument, but I don't have enough time to play it as my flute takes the priority over everything else.
It has rosewood coloured ends, bone buttons, steel reeds and 5 fold bellows. It is number 117450 which is about 1890. A couple of years ago it has been restored with new pads, valves, straps and is tuned to concert pitch. I paid it £1150, which is not too bad.
"A couple of years ago it has been restored with new pads, valves, straps and is tuned to concert pitch. I paid it £1150" ~ for a wood end (sounds likely to be flat ends), bone button Lachenal? WHEW!!!

Re: Selling a Lachenal concertina
Is it anything special, above the spec ? Any special model ?
Just asking for the crowd, I'm an english player myself.

Or, rather, a player of the english concertina. Channel Islanders don't consider themselves any more English then, say, a Manxman.
