Hi everyone just wondering does anyone have any experience with chris's uilleann pipes? Do they have a good reputation in general? I hear he's main instrument is highland Pipes, although I could stand corrected on that as I dont know much about him!!
I have a half set. about 15 years old, bought from a piper who was moving up to a full set. Nice tone. My very experienced uilleann pipe tutor tried it out before I bought and was happy. Fully keyed chanter. Only issues I have had with it were with the reeds, not with the set.

I had a cabrette from him some 25 years ago and it was a lovely instrument. I can only assume his making skills would have got even better.
