New website for downloading CDs

New website for downloading CDs

What do you think of this new website, www.IrishtradTunes.com? I neither own nor work for it, and haven't downloaded anything from it - yet.

Thanks for the heads up "Where?"...nice site, I just bought and downloaded a couple of albums from there....very quick and straight forward.

Some previously 'out of print' stuff as well.

Re: New website for downloading CDs

Looks good to me. 28 tracks for 2 euros can't be bad.

"28 tracks for 2 euros"

Am I missing something?

Re: New website for downloading CDs

The advert down the left hand side - it plays a section of each track as well. Sounds pretty good!

Re: New website for downloading CDs

yeh the "Gems of Ireland" CD...I bought this plus one other CD download, and because you get 2 euros off if you buy two downloads the "Gems of Ireland" tracks were effectively free...

I don't work for them either!!

Re: New website for downloading CDs

Unfortunately, as the prices are in euros rather than sterling it doesn't work out quite as cheap although I daresay I could buy in bulk.

It doesn't look as if we'll have the Euro soon or even be in Europe long for that matter!

Re: New website for downloading CDs

I'm not into downloading mp3's. I want the physical album, it's a dyin artform

Re: New website for downloading CDs

The sale of physical Cds is indeed in terminal decline. Why do we think that is? answers on the back of an old LP cover to Strayaway, c/o The Socialist Republic Of Fermanagh

Re: New website for downloading CDs

There's a discount coupon on their Facebook page too, if you're interested. I... must... resist.

I'd suggest that you go & become an english primary school teacher if the future of spelling is an issue with you.

spellin sh*te

Re: New website for downloading CDs

Looks like a good site :) I've heard of it alright, but never got around to looking it up. I will definitely be buying a few CD's from there :)

Well, you can't - they don't sell CDs, just MP3s.

Re: New website for downloading CDs

Convenient and evidently great value, but hard to beat the thrill of sliding out/ reading CD sleeve notes - the first thing I do, even before listening to the tracks!
