some years ago I happened to travel through Dingle and I took the chance to visit Cillian O´Briain´s workshop, so of course I came out with a low whistle mouthpiece, two bodies and an emptier pocket (and a big big smile). Some time later I tried to contact them to buy an additional Eb body (I had taken the C and D ones), but I got no response, and so far I have had no success.
(I live in Madrid, so walking by Dingle when I have a free weekend is not really an option)
Now I´ve decided to give it another try. Any ideas-advices around here? I heard somewhere that Cillian is now focused on uillean pipes, but I don´t want to lose all hope yet...
I think Cillian is focused very intently on pipemaking. His wait list for pipes was approaching 10 years at one point. Besides he is better employed providing quality pipes to talented and serious students of piping...there is no shortage of whistle makers. Good pipemakers are in very short supply.
Thanks for your answer Seosamh. There are probably many whistle makers, though as I already have one of Cillian´s low whistles, i´d rather remain with his brand and just buying one of his Eb bodies instead of a whole new set, specially the mouthpiece being the most expensive by far.
Lucky as it is for the pipers world that Cillian is focusing on pipemaking, my question remains: does anyone know if there´s any way to get a Cillian O´Briain´s low whistle body... or, at least, another brand´s body which is compatible with Cillian´s mouthpiece?
The information proved accurate. After some contacts, Maurice is working on adapting his low whistle body to my mouthpiece, and we´re hoping he´ll send it next week. He´s been very helphul during all the process.
Cillian O´Briain´s contact?

Re: Cillian O´Briain´s contact?
Maurice Reviol learned from Cillian. My understanding is when Cillian gave up whistle making, Maurice took over using the same design.

Cheers again to this monk who helped me out
