Not much variety. I wanted some Hair Hat Araldite for uncle Bob, but they've only got SyrupStik. Looks like I'll have to brave the crowds at Marks and Sparks again......
Fidkid, you must have more surprises for sale this Christmas...or are you keeping those for other notable dates, such as St Patrick's Day, April 1st, etc?
The Reverend DOES, of course, have genuine, but often still funny, items for sale.
You'll have to go elsewhere for the "Paddle faster, I hear banjos" t-shirt.
The Llig's Mammoth Melodies cover is very well-devised. The Thomas Bewick-style illustration expresses the pawky might of Edinburgh's old-world environs and characters. Ideally, it should have shown the book on a table held open for the fiddler's use by the statue of Greyfriars Bobby placed on it as a paperweight, and Burke and Hare robbing a nearby grave - just possibly ceasing their activities for a moment to admire the music. Or scarpering on hearing the fiddler play a bum note, this having been pre-arranged to be a warning signal.
i can think of many other uses for the pipe reed pounder, so please send me one of everything, except two each of the llig and harmon tune books. the check is in the mail.
Be honest now. If fidkid is able to produce a webpage, in his spare time, which receives such rave reviews don't you think a cutting edge web wizard might take this site & really shake things up?
It's been a decade & the reruns keep coming. . . & coming . . .
Our humble respect most Grand HTML Wizard.
"If fidkid is able to produce a webpage, in his spare time, which receives such rave reviews don't you think a cutting edge web wizard might take this site & really shake things up?"
Fair play Babs, fidkid already had a lot of the style worked out for him.
And you'd be too ashamed to take it back. Even if you did, you'd find that the nice mild-mannered bookseller had gone out and left the shop in the care of his ancient granny who would turn on you an eye like an angry gleed, perusing every grimy cranny of your horrible sinful soul. Attacked by a Hand of Glory, you would tumble over and crack your skull on the stark stone flagging. You would come to eventually in the gutter outside, your head having just been licked bald by a herd of cattle.

Do you also sell fully chromatic fingers to go with the whistle?
# Posted on November 26th 2011 by ormepipes
Re: The Session Shoppe
Ormepipes, I’m just relieved that I describe chromaticism in the caption accurately (or vaguely) enough that no one’s called me out on it.
I attempted to get the Hair Hat Araldite in stock but that is professional grade, and one needs a specific permit to carry it.
