Connolly's on Chiswick High Street can be fairly lively.

There was a nice little session in the Magnet in Holloway.
Products from major drinks conglomerates are sold.

I've known the Magnet to give a drink to the musicians. And a plate of grub at 11pm. I don't go there too often myself - I wouldn't want to be thought of as a freeloader, and also I know when I'm outclassed.
The music IS good though.
