Re: A new product for spoons players

What happens if you connect the wires in reverse - would you give the player an electric shock?

Re: A new product for spoons players

At first glanece, i thought this had to be a joke. It would be like amplifying a bodhrrr

Never mind.

Still, someone has got kick this up a notch, with peddles, FX board, wah-wah, all that. Synchronized lighting effects might be nice.

Next, the wife asks?

The shakey-egg timer?

Maybe it is, if it's brought out in the wrong session...

Re: A new product for spoons players

Not sure I'd use it on grapefruit. Doesn't grapefruit juice conduct electricity?

Laugh now you old farts, but remember, Dylan was not so well received when he first went electric.

Re: A new product for spoons players

Funnily enough, according to Robert Shelton's biography of Dylan, Bob used to play the spoons when he was little.

Re: A new product for spoons players

When I think of the spoon style of percussive music, probably with minimal to no amp &/or effects, it's like this > > (wondering if Dylan might also) > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE7QPq3-gQI

Re: A new product for spoons players

What about one of these, then you can play tunes whilst accompanying yourself on the electric spoons: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Lyons-Hummbucker-Electric-Kazoo-502296-i1460268.gc

Re: A new product for spoons players

They should have used it in "Braveheart" rather than the rather boring theme.

You know, getting louder and louder before the Scots come into view.
