The chanter currently has no working reed. I have used an original Dave Williams reed, from my own Williams chanter, in order to allow people to judge the sound of the chanter, but the reed belongs to me, whilst it is my son selling the chanter.
I have offered the reed if it is absolutely necessary to make the sale, but lots of people make their own reeds and it may not, therefore, be required. I would also prefer to hold on to the reed, although I currently play an Eamon Curran reed in my own chanter.

No offense, but i personally wouldn't buy an unreeded chanter/pay extra to get the reed..
