How are you's all..I'm trying to put together a set of theme tunes to connect with the crowd at our session in order to draw them in to our more traditional music..i would really appreciate it if anyone could give me the notes for these tunes..I would also like suggestions for other similar tunes to include as well..
Lord almighty, who remembers Glenroe!, Biddy & Miley etc. I suppose if one heard the intro., it might come back. And we used to live there - Kilcoole, that is.
...and if that's the tune but my abcs don't make sense, I'll write it out and mail it to you. Maybe YouTube has it as well...then you could just listen to it and work the notes out. It isn't hard.
Do you know, I have no memory of ever doing that. How embarassing! I have been known to break out into a medley of TV theme tunes when feeling belligerent: Blue Peter, Dr Finlay's Casebook/Captain Pugwash/The Vital Spark etc - you get the idea. Nobody likes a smart alec...
