Aileach and Dinny Maclaughan

Aileach and Dinny Maclaughan

Hello, anyone know how I can get in touch with Dinny and get his book about Donegal fiddle and also the Aileach cd s?

Re: Aileach and Dinny Maclaughan

I'm not sure that any of the "Aileach" recordings ever made it onto CD, as I think they were recorded on small private labels. The records do occasionally turn up on eBay, but the prices can be quite hefty because of their rarity. "MacCruiskeen" might well know more about this than me. Sorry, I don't have any of their recordings, so can't be of more help.

@billpoulos -- are you here solely to advertise your bastard website, or do you think you might actually contribute something useful in the near future? Just to save me time in reading your posts. Or not.

Ah Kenny that's great I sent of an email just now. I first heard the Bonny Labouring Boy song on a Come West Along The Road dvd and liked it then I heard Dinny play on a touristy dvd about poitin and that was me hooked.
Now billpoulos - I fail to see the relevance of your link so unless I've missed something -away and raffle yourself!
