FS: Fully Keyed Andreas Rogge Concert Pitch Chanter for Sale!
Hello,
I am selling my 2009 Ebony (not Blackwood) Andreas Rogge Concert pitch Chanter.
It has a sterling silver Chanter Top with stop-key. Fnat, G#, Bb and Cnat keys.
Two Benedict Koehler Reeds, 1 spruce reed and 1 Cane reed for different climates.
Altered chanter finish for slight better ergonomic feel and use of keyes.
I am sad I have to say goodbye to a very nice Chanter that has accompanied me trough 3 years of studying Irish Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, but I have just bought a Froment chanter and a new Andy May Boxwood chanter is on its way, so I need to make some compromise.

No worries, it was Andreas Rogge himself who altered the external finish. Inside is the same!
His usual desingn for chanters has a pretty round front. The part where the holes are was exactly like the back. I had him flatten the front part so it feels more like a Dave Williams or a Froment when you hold it. The stop-Key is a little shorter than Andreas's usual ones, as you easily could get caught in it while playing. Also Bb key used to be very long compared with other Chanters from doiiferent makers, so its shortened. The work has been carried out very carefully and no changes in the internal tuning have been noticed.

In what way altered? No offense, but i wouldn't do something like that in fear of destroying its value for someone else..
