hello, i was wondering if someone has any information about this reel played by Matt Molloy on Heathery Breeze, bohola reel. I've found a jig with the same title but no reel. I haven't found a transcription of this reel.
He said on the cd that this reel is called Bohola or Martin Ainsborough...
No it ain't - I'm not sure that that tune has been posted here yet unless it's under another name.Probably missed because the "link" would show that "Martin Ainsborough's" had already been posted. Give me a few minutes.
No - the "Martin Ansboro's" [ sic ] which I posted came from Matt Molloy's 1st record. I should have checked first.
The first record sleeve says that Martin Ansboro is from Bohola, Co.Mayo. No other information. There is no information at all on the "Heathery Breeze" sleeve.
