Paddy Glackin at Fiddler's Green

Paddy Glackin at Fiddler's Green

For those (including me) who missed the Paddy Glackin gig at Fiddler's Green in Rostrevor. He was given the Hall of Fame Award which culminated in a performance with Donal Lunny and Andy Irvine.

I found a bit of the performance on Colum Sand's show for those in the UK who missed it:

It starts at about an hour into the show.

Great stuff, thaks for posting that.

Nice to hear Mr Irvine later in the program, too.

At about 1:06ish, he names the jigs -
I cannot make out the name of the first, sounds like Top Of something.

Help??

Re: Paddy Glackin at Fiddler's Green

Thank you, ciaran.

Great tune, but one where (blush blush) I have long played it but not known the title.

Inexcusable, I know.

Re: Paddy Glackin at Fiddler's Green

Fiddler's Green is a place I've heard tell
Where fishermen go, if they don't go to hell.

Not the same place?
