I was having another wee listen to Deanta there who had to be one of my favourite bands and I see that they appear to have reformed in 2008. Does anyone know if they have plans for another album or tour?
They reformed for a one-off gig in Portglenone (the O'Briens' home town in 2007) and later were persuaded to be filmed in McCollam's, Cushendall in 2008 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV3kTqB2PAM.

I don't think they're planning a comeback.
Sorry.

Re: Deanta reformed?
Reformed? What, had they been out rioting or something, but are now going straight?

Ach, missing hyphen city!
Danny, I couldn't possibly comment on your supposition.

Re: Deanta reformed?
They don't even need to re-form. Just make another album together, and I would be in bliss. One of my favorite bands, ever.

Re: Deanta reformed?
I am another fan that wishes they would make another album. Love their arrangements, instrumentation, musicianship, sound, etc., etc.

Not ITM, but here is their stunning rendition of Nick Drake's Clothes of Sand:

Hauntingly beautiful and sad.
