Does anyone know if the band Nomos is still together and touring? They put on a show here in Peterborough, Ontario about five plus years ago that was dynamite! They jumped into their first tune with such intensity and enthusiasm that it took your breath away. They didn't let up for the entire show. Every member gave a virtuoso performance. I'd swear the bodhran player (Frank Torpery) could have played a melody if he wanted to! Anyways, if anyone has any info on the band or it's members, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Nomos officially broke up in 2001 (if I remember correctly); they had a farewell gig in Cork, which I went to - my first and last Nomos concert! Frank Torpey, Niall Vallelly, Gerry McKee, Eoin Coghlan, and John Spillane all play around Cork city quite a bit, just not as Nomos.
