Ha ha.
I was offered one at a market many years ago, for £7.00 !
I was so sorry afterwards I didn't get it, but 'Er Indoors was heavily down on my Instrument Acquisition Syndrome at the time. I knew what it was and everything.
Nowadays they're too popular again.
The ozark pro tenor is really magnificentfor the.money - about £250 from eagle music - string it with heavy shirt neck banjo strings and it gives really big sound - all solid cedar - much better tone than the Martin LXM or gold tone (though an old Martin is very different ! )
I really recommend it !

Re: tenor guitar
It depends on what you consider "cheap". Martin currently makes a laminate tenor guitar (LXM Tenor) which can be bought new for around $450 USD.
