Will anyone help with the name of the reel they play in the instrumental break here. It's Cara Dillon singing "P stands for Paddy." She does the same arrangement on her Hill of Thieves CD. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7M8ATO6jDY
Hey, This is a lovely reel. I especially love the pipes and fiddle- they really bring something to the overall performance. I don't know what the instrumental in it is though as I've never heard it before. Sounds great though and i look forward to hearing more songs sung by Cara.
Many thanks to all that replied. I've been away from home & computer for last 3 days. I agree with camwebby, it's Harvest Moon. I thought I'd heard it somewhere before, but couldn't place it. Now I realize I know it from the CTL "At Home" CD. It's amazing how different backing can make a tune sound completely different. Both versions are great.
Also agree with Al - Hill of Thieves is fantastic. Got it a few months ago and can't bring myself to take it out of the CD player. Every track is a keeper. Superb CD!
@SlowAndSteady - if there's a DVD out I'll have to track it down. Should be a real treasure.
Thanks again all!

I've often wondered that my self. Have you heard her DVD? They actually play a full set half way through. It's powerful stuff!

That Hill of Thieves album has become one of my favorite albums of all times, great singing in beautifully crafted arrangements. Highly recommended.

Apologies to Jeremy for putting the notes from the video clip here, but seeing as how we don't even know if it's a real tune...

Re: Reel on this Cara Dillon YouTube video
PS having just looked at camwebby's suggestion, I would agree that it's the Harvest Moon.
