I'm thinking about making a whistle, and I would like to ask you if there are any web in which this process is described: materials, fabrication, and especially, dimensions.
I would like to make a low whistle (Eb), I think it's not possible to copy the dimensions of my D Tin whistle (considering the ratio)...
Hey, before you get started on a complicated project, here is a simple project to give you a feel for what may be involved. http://www.ggwhistles.com/howto/
To be honest, I would start with something more simple, if you haven't already. I would start with a pvc flute. I've been making them for a good little while now, and when I tried to make a whistle, as something a bit more complicated, I couldn't do it, and plus, my chisel didn't work very well on the pvc, so I would advise making a flute first. The first link is for a bamboo flute, but it works just as well on pvc, and the second, is more for an...... okay, low flute, that is if you only have half-inch pvc.

Guido's is as precise and informative as you might wish.
Only my ineptness has prevented me making a good playable whistle..
