Jim, that's fantastic! And you are much deserving of the honor. Just think, I'll be able to say many years from now, "I knew the guy that tune was written for...." No, wait...I'm older than you.
It's nice to know that Chris (Wurzel) is now helping others enjoy and learn this music.
He used to come over to Lundy regularly, and we had some great tunes and times together.
Danny (Rudall) used to come out here too, before my time, and one of ther great venues to play was "The Old Light" ~ the music just spiralled up the tower.
Anyway Chris asked me about the music one day so I visited him and he recorded what I did. for what it's worth here is what he posted
Hi there Hup. Yes, we're supposed to be the digital island. That's not the problem, just where I live and my circumstances, so I don't get access to internet somedays at a time.

Re: A Reel wrote for me ..
Jim, how lovely, and how nice a tune!
I've had a few presents like that, and it's very humbling, and emotional at the same time to realise that others value one's contribution.
All the best

PS Having probs getting internet at moment but thanks for what you have sent and I've managed to access. Brian x

Re: A Reel wrote for me ..
No reel ever wrote my essays for me.
There may be limits to what music can do for one, though I do not care to ponder this overmuch.
