Hey folks, I've come across a really great website called "CelticTurnTable.com". They have bunched other website's CDs into one spot to make it easier to find new and existing artists, alot of them are ones found here on TheSession.org.

Forgive me for being a wee bit negative but why does k4hx1 feel the need to dress up in the OP as a punter coming across this new CD site when it seems that s/he is closely linked to same venture - well most of the YouTube videos are credited to k4hx1 and CelticTurnTable?? A bit of plain honesty never goes amiss..

the vast majority of the videos carry a link to celticturntable. You must see how I might get confused??

As others have said, advertise as yourself. You're offering a service that we actively seek out, as many Irish musicians are avid music collectors as well as players. Just stick to commercial posting rules on message boards and all will be well. I don't know that Jeremy has specifics here but you can write and ask him. There's a link on the FAQ page.

Yep, it seems to be a good service but as a reader of places like this, I'm always interested in the personal recommendations of other contributors. As a consumer, I must differentiate between these personal observations and 'advertorial' - where advertising masquerades as editorial matter. Which is why it does you little service (or business) to try and blur the lines. Just be straight - here's my music store or my brother/ sisters/ friend/ business partners store etc.

The site converts currency to the country corresponding to the IP address - you cannot change it either. Prices are in GBP for me. Rather pointless indeed.

Good morning, yes I personally made the changes to my site this morning. I had a previous policy for Canada only, but had expanded the scope. In terms of various currency displays, this has also been enabled. So yes, all orders can be shipped anywhere in the world. Appreciate all your help in making thing better for the end user.

You have wounded the hussar with your approach.Why not just promote the website straight, your integrity would be all the better for it afterwards.
By the way, I love the clips you have up on Yourtube it's a great contribution to maintaining Irish Traditional music.

Kevin Krell, on C&F, pointed t otthe terms and conditions of th website.
One of the conditions is:
'Any items purchased on this website will not be delivered to an address outside of Canada. '
Which makes the whole affair a waste of time for most people here.
