I'll practice ITM on an electric mandolin sometimes because it takes a lighter touch and I can practice quietly for hours without feeling muscle aches and such, but I've never felt compelled to share it with anyone. I don't even plug it in.
The amp settings are such that I had a difficult time distinguishing the melody and pulse of the tune and as a result it sounded to me like a mashed banana. If you are going to have that much sustain, a much slower tune would be better.
Yes, that would indeed cut through all that bothersome noise,,
And I would also have a sore head along with the punters.
My son use to play one of them every morning, then he got a job Thank Feck. Now is only the weekend I have to get through !

It can be done. If anybody in central Scotland has heard Ian "Stretch" Macfadyen playing Scottish music on the electric guitar you'll know what I mean.

"At least he's not using a capo."
Now that you've mentioned it, yes, it sounds much more agreeable.

Re: Electrifying playing
Technical ability no doubt but to me it sounds dreadful as he murders the tune.

Re: Electrifying playing
"Sounded like a mashed banana." That's got to be the best simile ever used on this board.
