The Session >> Discussions >> Anyone know the name of this tune?
At 7:20, Eileen Ivers is playing a jig- does anyone know the name of it? I once heard Brendan Mulvihill play it and I really want to know what it's calle.d Thanks!

Funny that though Low, I was sure that "The Milltown Jig", or by another name, was already here... Not to go look for it...
'Not' should read 'Now'...
I've known this as "Portroe" or, as it is known locally, "The Boys Of The Town"... And no, this isn't what she's playing...

Sorry, I forgot to erase the header. Just to repeat myself, no, "The Boys of the Town" / "The Milltown Jig" is not what she's playing...
