I have a Michael Copeland keyless D flute I would like to part with. I believe it is made of blackwood with silver or possibly nickel silver rings and and cover over a brass tuning slide. The head joint is fully lined. The flute is in very good condition, and was purchased used 5-6 years ago. There are no cracks or chips. The number on the back of the head joint is 04-21 and the maker's name is on the front.
My boyfriend, a fine flute player, has this to say about the instrument:
"The tone of this flute seems best described as crisp and the bottom D is very powerful. I've tried my best to demonstrate both of these, however it's a bigger flute than I'm used to (I play a Wylde) and I don't think I'm getting everything I could out of the flute given a few more weeks of playing."
I would like to get back what I paid for it, so it's for sale for $1100 USD (or best offer), plus shipping. Please pm me if you are interested or have any questions about the instrument. The flute is in Canada until Friday, and then will be back in Michigan.
