Name the tune? That's some well-known jig.

In addition, what would you say about that accordion playing? (that's not me playing, just curious what you guys will say)

Is that yourself playing the tune ? did you learn the tune from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w14SDHBUzsY
From ear or from dots or a combination?

You were planning to go to Ireland around this time of the year to attend some classes, did that happen ?

Re: Tune ID + more

Sounds likes somebody's been studying Damien Mullane's playing of this tune pretty intensively.

Good job but a bit of a way to go to match the subtletlies of the young fella's playing.

Theirlandais, no, that's not me playing, as I've told in my first message of this discussing page.

Re: Tune ID + more

breqwas, I guess I went listening to the MP3 and didn't come back to finish off what you wrote..

I got scared there for a minute, because you've only been playing for 2 years, any road up, the recording sounds good, who's playing ? I must get to Moscow for a session one day.
