Came across this on You tube. Really clever idea based on the song Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.
It definitely needs to be listened to on head phones for the bass line to come through. The guys name is Tad Sargent does any one know where he hails from?
I can assure every one that my system is quite able to deliver sufficient bottom and I don't need to hear this on cans.
That said, I thought the production values of the sound track and the video (which were very good!) outweighed the performance and basic musical idea.

Very thought-provoking. I'm not convinced, but as an argument for the death penalty, it's not a bad one.

As the world's greatest living bodhran player I confess I could not use a bodhran to make those sounds, or get that rhythm.
That is bongos, or a Djembe, or kettle drum, or whatever.
alas too many bodhran players nowadays play a simple beat and rhythm, rather than accompany the tune.
that simple, dum da da da dum da dah is not bodhran playing.
John Joe has a lot to answer for...........
