Re: Help on Tune Title Needed
Not French its would seem, Jerry O'Donnell.

If it were, it would be called "Via de Guillaume", would it not?

Re: Help on Tune Title Needed
Don't be too sure that it isn't!
Ask yourself why it goes well with the LNB Polka. Could it be that it's French, too?

Re: Help on Tune Title Needed
OK, I dug a bit and see that it was written by Will Ward of Fiddlers' Dram. Sorreeeee!

Re: Help on Tune Title Needed
And it would suit hurdy gurdy perfectly. Apparently Will Ward plays/played bassoon. QED, methinks...

Re: Help on Tune Title Needed
"The Will's way is this way alone"

- Ibsen
Then comes the lesson : without a word he
Plays The Joy of Life on a hurdy-gurdy.
The bear, half-daft as the heat advances,
Finds he cannot stand, so perforce he dances.
- Ibsen
Hmmm... maybe you're right, Jerry ....
