Re: Valentine's day

I won't be suggesting any tunes in case I might offend anybody.

Re: Valentine's day

Sounds like I might have missed a good thread!

"Wallop the Cat from Under the Table"

Nope, don't understand that one at all.

Re: Valentine's day

I didn't believe that was a real tune name.
I should have known better.
After all, if you can have "Whack the Frog" than you can have Wallop the Cat....

Re: Valentine's day

I played Men of Harlech to my love today. I don't know what that says about my marriage.

Re: Valentine's day

The comments for "The Cheating Bastard" are hilarious. Made my night. Last year at around this time I should have written a tune called "The Douchebag Reel" rather than mope around Glasgow.

Wallop the Cat from Under the Table is definitely a real tune. :)

Re: Valentine's day

ahem, it's "Bang Your Frog on the Sofa," not "whack."

8-)

Re: Valentine's day

Tripping Up the Stairs, of course. And for the more devout among us, make sure it is preceeded by Haste to the Wedding.

Re: Valentine's day

You can always try 'Cock up your Beaver' It's direct, if not romantic.

Contrary to the comments there though he did not name it.

Re: Valentine's day

Sorry, the original from "This is Spinal Tap" is "Lick my Love Pump."

Niall probably got inspiration from this. Who wouldn't?

Re: Valentine's day

I am aware of the original. As I said though it was not Niall that gave the tune its name.

# Posted on February 15th 2011 by No Cause For Alarm

Re: Valentine's day

Is that what he calls it now? I hope so because the thought of Niall saying "Suck my Love Pump" when asked, "What tune is that?" is pricelessly funny.

# Posted on February 15th 2011 by DrSilverSpear

Re: Valentine's day

That is the tune's name.

# Posted on February 15th 2011 by No Cause For Alarm

Re: Valentine's day

Excellent. I shall have to learn it and next time I find myself in a session with Niall, be like, "Do you have a name for that one?"
