Or you might be interested in this one I am selling - same as above but "Hearts and Flowers" fretboard, mint condition, $750 USD + shipping. http://www.banjohangout.org/classified/18978
Just to avoid misunderstanding, the banjo that Glengarslasher illustrates & describes on the "donedeal.ie" site isn't a standard TS250 Special - it's the more expensive TS250AT de-luxe "Vine". It differs from the cheaper TS250AT with "Hearts & Flowers" inlay illustrated on the "banjohangout" listing from BJButler in more ways than just the fingerboard inlay. Gold Tone tenor banjos are available "off the shelf" in UK/Ireland in several formats that would only be available in the USA as custom orders from the GT Custom Shop in Florida. This is because there are (relatively) many more tenor banjo customers here than in the USA. The TS250 Special than Glengarslasher mentions is actually an even cheaper model than the TS250AT and different again! Glengarslasher is actually offering one of the very best GT models, well worth a look!
BjButler your banjo is not the same the one i am selling is the very top of the line as teetotaller points out it has a lot of upgrades and he should know thanks for pointing this out teetotaller
Triplet, sorry if I upset you. It seemed like a good opportunity to consolidate banjo ads to avoid clutter. I also figured there was little competition since nobody would pay to ship a commodity banjo from the US to Ireland or vice versa. Maybe thesession needs a classified ad section.
Yes I also felt it was a bit opportunistic of you bjbutler after all i was trying to sell mine and you compared mine to yours as you referenced AndyBanjos site for yours you can see there is a £220 Pound sterling Price Difference thats $340 between mine and yours mine retails for £930 + £75 for Case thats £1005 Sterling or 1210Euro and mine is as new so its a great buy
Sorry I made a mistake the £930 Sterling does not include the upgrade Vine Inlay neck mine was actually 1300Euro so I think you were well out of order saying yours was the same you hijacked my thread and basically implied that your Banjo was the same for a cheaper price

Re: Gold Tone TS250 Special
donedeal.ie has some nice instruments - wish it didn't cost so much to ship from UK to US :(

Re: Gold Tone TS250 Special
@Reeds Munson- just a heads up mate - the website is "donedeal.ie", - it's an Irish website: Ireland is not in the UK.

Re: Gold Tone TS250 Special
Fair enough. Mine is closer to the standard TS250AT (but with flamed resonator and better bridge) described on teetotaler's web site:

Re: Gold Tone TS250 Special
Maybe bjbutler should start his/her own thread about selling their banjo, rather than hijacking Slasher's thread. Just saying....
